Ordinary Kodály Australia membership starts at $70 a year.

It is cheaper to become a Kodály Australia member first and then book for the conference.

Single Day Only registration includes:

• Morning tea & lunch on your day of attendance

Daily musicianship classes are built into the conference program, and provide an opportunity for delegates to expand their music skills and knowledge. These sessions support the development of sight-reading, sight-singing, aural perception, theory and part-work skills through active music-making according to the tools of the Kodály approach (moveable tonic sol-fa, rhythmic syllables and Curwen hand signs).

Participants are invited to choose the class that best suits their musical needs and experience. Everyone is welcome: beginners to professionals. Please indicate your anticipated level of Musicianship (solfa competency) when registering.

• Level 6
• Level 7/8 (Advanced Studies)

Notes:
To work out your Musicianship level use the following self assessment Musicianship Level sheet.
These levels correspond with the Australian Kodály Certificate Musicianship levels.
Musicians new to using solfa are encouraged to select Musicianship level 4. Educators with limited musicianship and theory training are encouraged to enrol in level 1.

We only ask an indication of your anticipated level of Musicianship to assist with programming. You can change which level you attend at the conference.

To be eligible for Early Bird & Super Early Bird discounts, registrations must be received with payment by the date indicated.

^ Proof of eligibility will be asked for all low income and full time student registrations.

Low Income registration is limited to:

• Centrelink/Services Australia Health Care Card holders. Cards issued in the name of a child are not eligible,
• Centrelink/Services Australia/Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card holders,
• Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card holder

Cancellations by You and Refunds

• You may cancel your registration if desired. All cancellations must be notified by email to conference@kodaly.org.au
• A $50 administration fee will be held from all cancellations.
• Humanitix Booking Fees are non-refundable at any time.
• The membership portion of the non-member registration rate is non-refundable at any time.
• You will receive a refund of 100% (less admin, booking fees & membership) if you cancel your registration before 1 August 2024.
• You will receive a refund of 75% (less admin, booking fees & membership) if you cancel your registration between 1 August 2024 and 31 August 2024 inclusive.
• You will receive a refund of 50% (less admin, booking fees & membership) if you cancel your registration between 1 September 2024 and 8 September 2024 inclusive.
• No refunds are issued if you cancel your registration after 8 September 2022. No administration fee is payable in this circumstance.
